Great Excitement  - Saw the first swallow of the year over the farm this evening...

Lets hope this Blacktghorn flower is going to predict a great Sloe harvest.

It looks like Spring at last..

No snow on the Cheviots though!

I thought I heard a couple of Martins hassling a Hawk type thing last week but couldn't be sure - Hoorah!  I was sitting outside the middle-of-nowhere-house this am having coffee and two Sand Martins flew overhead.
